Mahindra BE Rall-E: Rally-inspired electric SUV confirmed for November 26 debut

Mahindra has stirred excitement in India’s electric vehicle space with the teaser of the production-ready BE Rall-E, a rally-inspired special edition of the upcoming BE 6 electric SUV.

Released recently, the teaser showcases Mahindra’s ambition to blend performance engineering, motorsport influence, and rugged capability into a single electric SUV.

Mahindra BE Rall-E to debut on November 26
The rally-themed Mahindra SUV is set to reach
showrooms around mid-2026.

Drawing from the brand’s Formula E learnings and the Born Electric (BE) platform, the BE Rall-E aims to deliver both excitement and practicality for EV buyers seeking a sportier experience.

Launch event and availability

The BE Rall-E will make its global debut on November 26, 2025, at Mahindra’s Scream Electric event in Bengaluru, India.

The two‑day showcase will also introduce the new XEV 9S, a seven‑seater electric SUV.

Some reports suggest the XEV 9S unveiling will occur on November 27, but the BE Rall-E is confirmed for November 26.

The new rally-themed SUV is expected to reach Indian showrooms in 2026.

There is speculation that Mahindra may position it as a limited-edition offering, similar to the BE 6 Batman Edition, which sold out its 999 units in a remarkable 135 seconds.

While pricing details are under wraps, the standard BE 6 may start at Rs 18.90 lakh (Rs 1.8 million) (ex-showroom), and the Rall-E variant is likely to command a higher premium due to its specialised design and performance-focused upgrades.

Aggressive and sporty exterior design

The teaser confirms that the BE Rall-E will retain the aerodynamic coupe-SUV silhouette of the BE 6 while adding bold rally-inspired enhancements.

As Mahindra’s first off-road-oriented electric SUV, it emphasises rugged appeal and sporty energy.

The front fascia features slim LED daytime running lights, projector LED headlamps positioned lower on the bumper, a muscular bonnet vent, a robust front skid plate, and athletic racing stripes.

Round auxiliary lights, a departure from the BE 6’s C-shaped DRLs, add a classic rally feel.

The SUV also sports a roof-mounted spoiler, an additional spoiler on the boot lid, slim LED tail lights, and large 20-inch alloy wheels that enhance stance and presence.

The front bumper has been redesigned for improved aerodynamics and off-road functionality.

The teaser model appears in a striking red paint scheme with sporty graphics, offering a cleaner production look compared to the earlier concept, which featured a roof rack that seems to have been removed.

Interior and tech expectations

Though Mahindra has not revealed the cabin in the teaser, the BE Rall-E is expected to share the tech-rich interior of the BE 6.

This could include powered and ventilated seats, an augmented-reality head‑up display, an in‑car camera for driver monitoring and video calls, 360‑degree camera setup, advanced driver assistance systems, connected car technology, and fast-charging capabilities.

Mahindra may also introduce rally-themed interior elements, sporty accents, or specialised software-driven drive modes.

Some enthusiasts have speculated that the Rall-E might include a different battery pack or protective underbody components for rugged terrain, though none of this is confirmed.

Performance and powertrain possibilities

Built on the INGLO platform, the BE Rall-E should offer strong performance and efficient charging.

While the standard BE 6 uses rear-wheel drive, industry speculation hints at all‑wheel drive through a dual‑motor setup for the Rall-E.

This would better match its rally-inspired character, but Mahindra has not confirmed these details.

Additional off-road driving modes or suspension enhancements may also be part of the package, but official specifications will only be revealed during launch.

E-Vroooom’s views

Overall, the Mahindra BE Rall-E seems poised to make a significant mark as a sporty, performance-oriented electric SUV for Indian buyers seeking a holistic adventure, style and cutting-edge technology.
